I don't normally go for dystopian novels, but it sounds interesting to view it from a women-in-charge point of view. It is described as gentle, but as men have to 'pay for their past crimes' then maybe it will be violent, which is not my style of book at all. I thought the quickening normally meant something to do with pregnancy, so I wonder about the relevance of the title to the book.
