This book using flashbacks to garner questions in the readers mind. The juxtaposition of the characters between then and now creates a great deal of intrigue. However, as a feminist myself, I have some issues with the subject matter and I fear that the book is going to ultimately end up a criticism of "Woke"/"Me too" and/or feminist movements in general.
