This book feels a little bit like a rip-off of 'The Power' by Naomi Alderman crossed with a reverse version of 'The Handsmaid's Tale' by Margaret Atwood. Both of those did it better. So I guess, this just doesn't feel like anything new or groundbreaking.

The start of the novel being set at Oxford University put me off a little bit. It felt unnecessary.

I liked the concept - although it has been done before, it is still an interesting idea and you wonder whether it is a good way to help men to understand how things are for women if they see the total opposite.

I felt neutral towards the characters. They had the potential to be interesting but depending how the next few chapters went, they could equally have been annoying.

I didn't like the fact it felt too similar to some other novels. It didn't feel different or unique enough, which is a shame.
