Very dystopian which I’m not normally a fan of, I can’t decide whether I liked it or read it just because I felt I needed to. It was a weird concept but interesting to read the reverse gender roles.
It seems to be a feminist book but I’m not sure that it actually is, I don’t think I’d recommend it as one either. I really like the cover art and it’s eye catching and really draws you in. I’d be willing to give another book by this author a go but I’m really not sure about this one.
I get it’s about relationships and how it would be if women were more in power than men, it reminded me of the power which gave women powers over men and they took over. I thought I would have really liked this book but I feel the gender reversal is overdone now.
If you’re thinking of reading this book then I would give it a go, it’s not bad but it’s not great and it is kind of interesting. Don’t think it’s for me however
