The blurb pulled me in...."for fans of the Vox" one of the most thought-provoking novels I have read in recent years. But now it seems that there may be another of equal magnitude.
Recounted from different perspectives the initial chapters set the scene for why the world has transformed into its current state. Dana, a young and idealistic (opinionated) student feels that the world in on the cusp of change, Arthur, a young and lusty student falling rapidly in-love (infatuation) with her and Victoria, a reality pop-star (musician) who has been groomed and abused by the agent who has helped bring her to fame.
Engagingly written I was instantly pulled into this. Will it be a case of "be careful what you wish for"? We can see why society needs to change but will it change too radically in the opposite direction causing a whole different set of issues. I can't wait to find out how this plays out
