Interesting but not fully developed
An interesting dystopian look at society, and how things could be different. It focuses on lots of relevant, modern themes such as patriarchy, feminism and misogyny. Not all are done successfully, but the novel does raise some important questions that should be considered in this day and age.
Some of the characters aren’t as fleshed out and developed as they should be, and some plot lines should be better.
The book could also benefit from more world building, to develop the reasoning behind certain character decisions or storylines. It’s an intriguing concept but doesn’t meet its full potential. Perhaps a longer book or sequel could help continue on ideas that were just briefly mentioned or touched on in this.
As a whole, it was a good book which raised many themes and prevalent in today’s society. However it wasn’t as developed as it could be with such premise
