Unfortunately I really struggled with this book. I had been really looking forward to reading it but I found the language and the way it was written really didn't work for me. I loved the the idea of this story but when reading it I found it all a bit much. I read about 4 chapters and then gave up, I may revisit it in the future, maybe my mind wasn't in the right place, I'm not sure.
The cover is so eye-catching and as I said I loved the idea of it but for me it was too much, it made me feel uncomfortable reading it, which of course can be a good thing. It won't stop me from picking up a book by this author in the future though, we can't like every book can we? Sometimes a book just doesn't float our boat and I'm not one to continue reading when I could find another one more suited to me, to spend my time reading.
All in all eye-catching, thought provoking but just not for me.
