I was excited to receive a copy of this book having read the extract. I have heard of the writer as an actress and the cover of the book is very attractive. Once I started to read the book I persevered as I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt but I found it very hard to enjoy, not what I expected at all. I like the style of writing but the actual story/content I just didn’t find enjoyable I’m sorry to say. I didn’t find the characters and their actions believable and that was a problem for me reading the book. I am open to reading most genres and like to read new authors but I just struggled with this one, very disappointed to say as I had high hopes. I don’t want to say too much or ruin the story for someone else to read. The book may appeal to others so I have given it 3 stars but not one for me I’m afraid. I would not recommend this book to others at this time.
