Even 30 pages in I found myself rooting for Ella to come out on top. I found this to be a novel take on a war story with a character whose spirit is feisty and determined. Complete with 'villainous' woman in charge and an intricate passion for sewing, Red Ribbon is sure to be a fantastic read.
I do like the cover as it sums both aspects of the war with that ribbon of hope that Ella clings to.
