I sometimes find it difficult to read books related to Auschwitz and the war, firstly because it is a difficult topic and secondly because I sometimes feel it has been done too many times, however this one really caught my eye as it sounds fascinating, looking at it from a completely different perspective. I imagine it will be no less heart breaking, and if the first impression is anything to go by, it's going to be a beautifully written book.
