i loved boy in the striped pyjamas, anne frank and the book thief. i am very interested in stories depicting wars and work camps. this particular story starts with a teenage girl who is thinking about food, her grandma, fashion and doing her best to keep the job that will keep her alive. i really enjoyed this first look and am desperate to see what happens after that cliffhanger!
