The first sentence immediately had me hooked. The writing style was beautiful and complicated, yet simple at the same time. It was very descriptive but also kept the story moving forward. The way the author started the novel, made me want to read more.
However, the only problems I had were the characters. So many of them were introduced in one chapter I couldn’t keep track. We had Nova, Alex, Kate and more. Many of them being in completely different scenes yet the same chapter. The only thing I would comment about is how the chapters are layed out. They are all roughly the same length, which isn’t bad, but it doesn’t suit the story. Some chapters could have been shorter and some longer.
Overall, this novel seems to be of great quality.
Cover is also pleasingly aesthetic.
