I hate the giant light bulb on the cover. If I hadn't read the synopsis, I probably would have disregarded this book thinking that it was about the history of the light bulb.
The synopsis made this book sound like an unconventional love story and the thought of that certainly intrigued me. However, the extract was a let down in that it started with two characters arguing over a piece of paper - not the best start - and then switched to a completely different point of view. The extract felt confusing and disjointed and as a result, I have no interest in reading the rest of this book.
