I really loved the first half of this book; it was light, engaging but a bit different to others in the genre. The two lead characters were well written and the storyline was enjoyable. Sadly the tone and style seemed to change about half to two thirds of the way through and I stopped enjoying it, wasn’t that interested and in the end found it a little bit silly. I think there was too much going on and too much of a leap into nonsense. I would still like to try other books by the author, perhaps this just wasn’t the one for me. I think fans of How to Be Happy would probably enjoy this. Superficially, I loved the cover on my hard back edition, definitely jumped out at me when browsing in the bookshop.
