I thoroughly enjoyed this book - it only took me an afternoon to power through! It's a concept I've never come across before and I learnt so much about what it means to be blind and what it might then mean to regain sight. It made me think about the world and how I see it, in a totally new light. There were definitely some slow bits and some which I would have just got rid of if I was writing it! They didn't add anything to the plot and just felt like fillers before the next thing happened. Overall though the plot flowed well, it was just those few bits where I wanted to skip ahead a little. This book touches on some important issues including domestic abuse and how it really affects people lives. I'd recommend this book to fans of a light romantic novel, who perhaps would enjoy learning more about other peoples lives - I know I certainly did!
