From the first few pages of this book I was unable to put it down, the author set the scenes perfectly, I felt drawn into the lives of Nova, Kate and Tony. Nova was blind from birth but after her brother convinces her to give a revolutionary operation a go to help her to maybe see again, she begins to see a world that she had always lived in but never really knew, then there is Kate who is suffering at the hands of domestic violence and wishes she could have a different life, a chance meeting could change both of these ladies lives forever. I loved the rules of seeing in each chapter as it gives you real pause for thought about what we as seeing people take for granted and just don't take notice of. I loved the humour during this book which helped to get through the tense parts. Fabulous book that I will definitely read again.
