The Rules Of Seeing is a book I was looking forward to reading but I wasn't sure how much I'd enjoy it but it surprised me and it didn't take me long to read it at all! The story follows Nova who is blind and has surgery to allow her to see bug finds that there are a lot of rules of seeing and the world can be far more overwhelming than you'd think when learning to use your sight. This is something I had never considered before and didn't really know how much of a challenge it would be but it was fascinating to read through and see the character of Nova develop throughout the book. Kate has a whole other side to seeing and is a character I wanted to see do well throughout the book and stand up for herself and I like how they can both help each other out whilst they both try and manage what they're seeing. I think this is a great book and I'd read more from this author in the future!
