I would not normally pick up this type of book but I thought I’d give it a go. I am on page 113 and I’ve had to give up. I hate to not finish a book but I just could not get in to this at all. I started it and put it down and read two other books and just can not face picking it back up.
The storyline is not gripping. I understand that getting your sight back to be a lot to learn but I didn’t find the descriptions engaging. I could see there was a domestic abuse storyline so I would like to have seen how it was ha does but could not face it.
I have looked at other reviews and it seems that I am a minority with my opinion but I have a massive to be read pile and would rather move on than not enjoy this.
