This was a sweet romance though I found it a bit slow in places and i was't sure where the story was going sometimes or what genre it was trying to be. I have heard it compared to 'Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine' but I really can't see any connection.
The two main characters meet at a hospital. Nova is blind but her brother is pushing her to have an operation which will restore her sight, Kate is in an abusive relationship and making excuses for her husband's abuse. The two become friends which develops into more.
I got bored towards the end and rushed the last part but mostly it was enjoyable and quirky and I think will appeal to all readers who like romance and its good to read something different.
