The Saturday Girls is not the kind of book I'd choose to read and I don't think this one sounds any different so I doubt I would pick it up. I am not generally a fan of books set in post war England as I prefer more modern settings but the story sounds alright but very much like many other books. I'm not sure about the cover as it seems to contradict the story as it makes it look innocent but the story sounds a bit more eventful than the cover would give away.
