I haven't read anything by Matthew Reilly prior to this First Look.
I like that it starts with a clear book map and some interesting quotes. In my opinion, this seems like a pacey, story with a unique plot. I like that it explores the experience of the main character, Skye, who is a teenage girl attending high school in New York. It is aimed at young adults and reads well. I have found the First Look very interesting and would definitely read more.
