I am definitely not the target audience for apocalyptic YA novels so the blurb for this doesn't immediately float my boat. Having said that if it's done well this genre can be very absorbing (loved the Hunger Games trilogy for example) so I'd give it a go but probably with low expectations - and the hope of being surprised!
