Not your average Gossip Girl knock-off

This book knows what it is and what it's doing, and isn't afraid to lay it on thick. Within the first few pages, we can figure out exactly what's happening and exactly what's going to happen (or at least, I suppose, we think we can), yet I'm still excited by the geography, the set-up, the forthcoming action.
