This book is great... Not astoundingly amazing, not out-of-this-world, but it is great. This book has a sci-fi, futuristic theme, not one that is completely unoriginal, but slightly overused. However, the authors use of this theme and the way it becomes a vital part of the story is commendable. I also love the way certain little mistakes are outlined through the story, such as the 'debuting twice' to the balls. But overall, it is a decent book. The notion of time travel and portal openings are very intricate and is well-researched, with different prospects and theories bring used to show this. It's a good read, one that i might recommend to some, but not so fantastic that it would make my top 10 list
