I was really looking forward to reading this book and when it was announced on readers first I just knew I had to enter into the draw to win it.
I found it really difficult to get on with. I found it really easy to put down and really difficult to make myself pick it back up again. I just found that the book didn’t grip me or hold my attention for a decent period of time.
This is a shame because I did like the characters and I felt that I built a good relationship up with them. However the plot just seemed pointless. This is a shame because the plot was the thing that drew me in when I applied to win this hook.
Since reading this I have heard positive reviews so maybe it’s just me or I was reading it at the wrong time. It is one that I am willing to pick up and try again.
