This is a young adult contemporary mixed with action and mystery that sort of keep you guessing. It started off really good with the writing and the high school setting and then got pretty interesting. I haven't read a time travel element in a contemporary book like this before.
But as you can expect time travel can get confusing and as a reader I found it hard to follow, I liked the dialogue and the characters but I think it could have been executed better. There was some potholes that made the ending not make sense and contracted the middle but I don't know if that was only me.
I did expect not to like this book because of the time travel confusing aspect but the writing, characters and other parts of the plot balanced it out.
I probably will still check out the authors other books as they're probably different genres and I might find them better!
