The first thing that drew me in was the amazing cover, everything from the font of the text to the color combination and illustration works so well together that I just had to start reading it. The starting paragraph was honestly brilliant, and shocked me (positively). The whole story builds on a type of dystopian, new high school thing where we meet blue and red (twins) starting a new school. Red is the forward cool boy that makes friends easily whilst blue is more reserved having a harder time opening up to people.
The writing style especially in the prologue makes me want to read more, whilst I must admit that the last few pages were quite repetitive and just had a lot of information, but I know that that could be necessary for the plot of the book. All in all this is a book I’d love to see how proceeds, especially with it opening with a very captivating paragraph.
