If I had just seen this cover, cheerful as it is, I would have assumed it was a light chick-lit story and probably wouldn't have been drawn to it. However, having started to read it it soon became clear that this will be a complex and intriguing novel, with some dark themes. I love stories which explore underlying secrets and tensions and, if fortunate enough to win a copy, would look forward to finding out more about the links between the people who live on the square!
