I enjoyed this extract. It's an easy read and it seems well written. I like that each chapter focuses on a different character and that each character's backstory is interwoven with that of the other characters. This book has left me with a lot of questions. I'm left wondering about Susan - what has happened to her and why she can't let go of her past? I'll have to read the book to find out!
