Cleverly interwoven lives of strong women
I really enjoyed this book. From the start I knew it was going to be an ‘easy read’ the writing style made it flow so well. I loved trying to make predictions of where I thought things were going then having those things turned upside down with a new twist.
All in all this is a story of strong women from varying generations who end up loving in the same street and show that you can support each other. It has its emotional moments including a call out to #metoo as well as it’s laugh out loud moments. The boy thing I didn’t like was how it made me cry at the end, that and the job twist for one of the characters.
Would like t live somewhere like this in real life if it was a true neighbourly place.
