I really enjoyed this light hearted read about a small square of houses in Dublin whose occupants old and new have secrets and stories to tell.
The style of writing really worked well in the way that a little nugget of information, which was quite key to each character's story and also how they linked in with others, was held back. Sometimes this can be a little frustrating but I didn't find this to be the case with this book, it just made me want to keep reading.
It was both laugh out loud funny and also at other times really moving and I think it will appeal to a wide audience.
I have not read any other books by this author but after reading this I will probably look up some of her other titles.
