What a wonderful, uplifting novel. A story of friendship and how so many things can be overcome with truth, support and kindness from friends. I was sad when it ended, I could have read the same number of pages again about these lovely ladies.

This is a story about the bond women share and how they help each other out at times of need. Susan has lost her daughter, Ella and Melissa her dear sister. We don’t know initially how Ella died, we go on a journey with her mum and are unable to find out the truth until Susan is ready to tell her truth and relive her pain of losing her daughter.

Nancy, a theatre director arrives in Primrose square - the setting for most of the action of the novel - with a mystery and secret on her shoulders and only towards the end of the novel do we find out her truth. All the characters go on an emotional journey, back dropped against the solid reliability of Primrose square and the security that offers them all.

Jayne, a widow, a kind elderly lady offers support to all the women in the square and goes through her own transformation as the book progresses, finding herself romance online and proving that you’re never to old for love, hope and a second chance.

This book is for you if you like lighthearted stories about friendship, love and hope. I will look out for other books by Claudia Carol.
