What can I say about The Secrets of Primrose Square? It is such a sweet, heart-warming book! Despite making me feel all fuzzy inside, it isn't pure fluff though. On the contrary, it deals with some very serious issues - like grief and drug abuse. It does so in an extremely delicate way and I think it works well. The story is narrated from different points of view - female mostly - and it is so easy to get attached to all the characters living in Primrose Square. It might have been interesting to hear more from the male characters themselves but I guess the overall voice of the book would have significantly changed. The ending didn't hold many surprises but - in a way - that's what makes this novel a dependable feel-good read. I would definitely recommend it.
