A story of many tales that all interlink to give a full picture of Primrose Square. It is a great depiction of what living in a small neighborhood is like with overarching stories. The range of characters struck me in the square, people of different ages, backgrounds and ongoing battles is important to remember as you never know what the person next door is truly going through.

The storyline which has stayed with me is the heartbreaking tale of a mother coming to terms with the loss of a son is poignant and devastating, there is no one way to grieve and Claudia Carroll has managed to capture this perfectly. While fortunately many will not have to experience this kind of loss through the writing you are transported and can fell the sorrow and contempt for not knowing.

Overall the novel is well written and makes you want to continue reading which is the sign of a great author.
