Claudia Carrol is such a wonderful author, I loved so many of her other books and she has delivered once again!! This book is so feel good and warm but will have you laughing and crying all at once, which I honestly did not expect from my initial first impressions of the plot of the book! The story takes place in Primrose Square in Dublin, Ireland and follows the story of various people who live there and how their stories interweave in many both hilarious and heartbreaking ways. It is such a witty book and so charmingly written. One of my favorite characters was Jayne, who is a kind woman who lives in Primrose Square who speaks to the ashes of her dead husband which is both heartbreaking and sadly funny. She always keeps an eye out for one of my other favourite characters, Susan who is grieving with her husband for the loss of their daughter. I really highly recommend this book, it is so unique, quirky and charming and so beautifully written!
