I would never have picked this book up in a book store but was sent to me as one of my monthly subscription books. I really felt that I needed to try a different genre and this didn't disappoint. It was easy to read and I laughed easily at points in the story due to the easy writing style.

The main character is escaping a secret in London and ends up away from home with no friends or family. Yet with a strength of resilience and character she pulls through it and finds the love of new friends and a certain someone special.

The backdrop of a theatre and dramatic lifestyle was real to the transient nature of this work and i liked the thought of escapism that the story held whilst also recognising the importance of community and neighbours that we all rely on at different times in our lives.

All the characters felt real to the story and I was carried away with it which I enjoyed
