I don't think it is hyperbole to say that The Krays are legendary figures; there have been movies made base don their lives and a multitude of books written about them. My problem with it is that so much has been mythologised I find myself doubting everything I am told as an almost knee jerk reaction. To be honest, the glimpse provided by the author has done little to convince me (in the first impression text anyway).
