There's probably a load been written about these infamous twins, but i've never read any of them. I remember watching a film version many years ago but never really done much else. We all know how the story ends.
It's interesting getting a perspective from someone who was on the inside. It does read a little like sitting down the pub as the tales are retold. I'm sure plenty has been lost in history as people remember things differently or the people being talked about are no longer alive to dispute anything.
The first read was about a fifth of the overall book, it was strange starting a book several chapters in, so i am interested in what i have missed in the opening chapters and how the stories are told, with hopefully something new to add to the many voices which have recounted these tales already over the years.
