The book was good and I enjoyed reading it but somehow it felt like you were reading a version that wasn’t quite right, the writer though he was involved in a lot seemed to almost be painting himself as unlucky to have got involved at times whereas at others it almost felt like he was running the gang, he seemed to know everything going on and would be telling others what to do while telling the Krays another story and them believing every word of it.
From what I have heard and read about the Krays everything was a lot more violent and nobody crossed them without being made to pay for it in one way or other, this just felt a very edited version of the facts even to the conversations that were had.
Good book but would look further if you wanted to know more
