First of all, I LOVE the cover with the vintage picture of the kray’s and the big bold yellow writing. I love this book as it is about crime from ages ago which I find super interesting. I love this book because it gives you an insight inside story of Ronnie and Reggie's gang life underworld.
The first page is sort of an intro to what it was like for them to do business inside a busy area like the pub. It describes the atmosphere really well, almost as if you are also there too. I find it a bit strange as it starts at chapter 4 but there must be a reason for that.
I really love historical crime books and especially this one as it is base on a true the Kray twins that were notorious in London’s east end in around the fifties / sixties s . I would 100 percent recommend this book to anyone who also likes true crime and history like me! Definitely worth a read!!!!
