I have read an awful lot of true crime as well as real life conversations and depositions of criminals. I have also read alot about the Kray brothers. Although interesting and in some ways fascinating some of it did not sit right with me.
Infamous criminals that did not suffer fools gladly. This writer appears to try to have been the conspiriter to all people. I wonder if the Krays inner circle would have picked up on this. Having said that 50-60 years have gone past so perhaps memory and imagination play some part in this story. If you have not read up on the Kraus this provides an interesting perspective. It is quite well written and is an interesting window on the times and gangland London.
