Initially I was intrigued, Georgia is a courtroom artist so she comes into contact with evil nearly every day but she also has a terrible secret.

The storyline is different with the obligatory and trendy twists that a lot of new books seem to include in their stories.

Georgia believes everyone has evil inside them and through her job has done all that she can to ensure justice is done. However, everything about Georgia Sage is a lie including her name. By inventing a new past no one will get past the protective fence that she has built to stop anyone from seeing just how vulnerable she really is after the murder of her Mother and young brother many years earlier.

Georgia starts to see ‘visions’ of people from past cases, which she blames on stress and lack of sleep so she goes to see a counsellor to try to get to the bottom of these visions.

Overall I was very impressed with this book. The characters are likeable but I did feel a little too much emphasis was put on the visions but it is a good mix of a psychological thriller and crime drama.
