The extract left me wanting to read more due to being introduced to each individual character. I love books that report from the viewpoint of different characters, as it provides a deeper insight to each one and keeps me engaged. The cover is bright and eye-catching, and is definitely something I would pay attention to on the shelf amongst other novels.
