Okay, so I was cautious about reading this first look due to the synopsis and the trigger warning but I gave it a chance.
It starts with acceptance letters and the difference between the first two is night and day. A legacy over a norm.
I was holding my breath through the first few chapters. Feeling a little "out of the loop" as we don't get the story just yet but I read with anticipation any way, I got the gist!
The way the thoughts and feelings are written is great, in depth and full of detail that I really didn't expect.
I can imagine people reading this from different perspectives, male female etc and I think it'll be that that makes it better for the reader. The last couple of pages of the first look really start to pique my interest and then, just like that it stops (sad face)
I really am looking forward to reading this in its entirity and getting a real feel for the characters and the story as a whole. The cover is simple, elegant and draws you in.
I look forward to reading this to see the outcome alone.
