I enjoyed this first impression. The opening few pages where we see admission letters to three of the main characters give us an idea of the different walks of life that they come from. Then we are straight into the story, almost feeling like you are playing catch-up to where the characters are - Quinn is already seeking revenge, so the assault has happened pre-book narrative.
