I enjoyed the unusual way of introducing the main characters ( letters of acceptance) and found the first main section ( Quinn Walsh) very tense and engaging. However when the action moved to the next section, the taught feelings were lost and did not recover in the next Quinn section . Hopefully the drama picks up as the novel continues.
