A gripping tale of dealing with trauma - couldn't put it down
I was gripped by this book, a story of growing up and dealing with trauma, being flawed and friendships. While what happed to Q at the hands of Colin is horrible the book also shows the true power of friendship and how, when in such a strong friendship as these characters are, it can aid you to overcome anything.
The characters were deeply relatable, throughout their highs and lows, dealing with the deep trauma that they have. I think this book exemplifies in an amazing and heartbreaking way, the true nature of humans and our endurance through times of hardship, and how often we can be tainted by our hardship, yet it makes us better overall. This book was enriching and tear-jerking - I have yet to read something quite like this. Thought-provoking and almost healing to read, I couldn't put it down and will be recommending it to many people in my life.
