This book! What a powerful story based on such a relevant and current topic at the moment. Not only is it such an important area to explore, but it really is so beautifully well written and I found it really touched me. This is so clearly a young adult book, but I definately think that it will appeal to a much wider audience.
I think it was interesting to flick between the different characters that are involved in the story, with seeing different viewpoints of the same event. I also think it was a nice touch to include different ways of telling the story, such as including text message conversations, letters and other methods of mixed media.
This is released today and should be on everyone's list to read, I think it will certainly be one of my favourite books of the year already and think it should be one of the best young adult books of the year.
