This is an excellent book that covers some difficult themes very well. From the beginning of the book I was gripped by the story of Quinn and the other main characters Charlotte and Max. The story was told through the viewpoints of each of these main characters, and followed their time at an elite boarding school, Lycroft Phelps.

The previous year, Quinn was sexually assaulted by one of the biggest names at the school, and she returns to the school the next academic year struggling with the aftermath in silence. As the story unfolds, the characters begin to uncover a toxic 'lad' culture in the school and they start to see how it affects a number of the students.

In the wake of #MeToo, I thought that this book covered some important themes sensitively, whilst highlighting the importance of fighting the culture that often appears in schools and other establishments.
