While the subject matter and themes explored throughout the book are heavy and serious, the style of writing is super easy to read and get into. The POV style of each chapter really allows you to understand the nuances of each character and the struggles they are all experiencing both physically and within themselves.
I think one of the main things I took away from this book is the reminder that there is good and bad in everyone, and the decisions we make, usually without a second thought, can not only affect those around us but will also often alter your life completely.
The way major issues such as sexual assault, sexism, misogyny, self harm and mental health are all showcased and dealt with throughout in such a real and dignified way is a true testament to the author.
